So this weekend neither Igi nor Amos feature in this post. That’s because Piet Frans is going off to the Stanford Stumble. The main thing about this “athletics” event is that they provide wine at the watering holes. That’s where the “stumble” comes from!

And the participants also dress up in funny costumes. Piet Frans is going as a pirate, inspired by this drawing he made a while ago.

The Stanford Stumble is an annual event organised by the Stanford Hills Wine Estate. The event generates funds for their “Butterfly Centre”, which provides education for children who don’t fit into mainstream education.

So all the anticipated stumbling will be for a very good cause.
