This is the cover of their upcoming book, “Nincompoops”. True to form, neither Igi nor Amos realise that on the same board one is playing chess while the other is playing draughts. And this pretty much sets the tone for everything else in their book.

Concentrating hard, but on what?

You will see them as children, geriatrics, pilots, soldiers, sailors, nurses, spies, statesmen, ghosts and heavens knows what else.  They are not bound by time or place, and can pop up anywhere at any time – the Old West, World Wars, Arabia, France, India, the African veld, Spain, London, Belgium, Arabia ….

The 48 stories in the book are simply a retelling, in a visual format, of jokes, anecdotes and stories I have enjoyed telling for years.  Many of the cartoons set the scene by starting with “Neither Igi nor Amos were ever ……, But, what if….?

Book one ends as follows:

Book two, Return of the Nincompoops, will follow on from this, and cartoon nr 67 has just been been completed.
