This post is inspired by my humorist friend, David Krahn, who is staying in a hotel where a state leader is also staying with his entourage. David was commenting on the presence of clowns in suits, speaking into their sleeves, and whether this made him feel safer.

Now clowns are found in a circus, and Igi nor Amos themselves have some experience with politicians and circuses, as seen from this cartoon.

The punchline quote actually comes verbatim from a former Russian colleague who uttered this pearl of wisdom during a particularly chaotic session before a trial chamber of the Yugoslav War Crimes Tribunal!
