(44)  09H10 – 13H03 – Whew, Downstairs survived! He’s still a bit wonky, but after a shower and something to eat he googled for somebody authorised to fix his window during the lockdown.Upstairs, having seen black broken glass fragments on the pavement way down, hatches a plan to discreetly find out if Downstairs is allright.

(45) 21H31 – An eventful day draws to a close. Two windows have been repaired, and things appear calm. Downstairs has hauled his mattress out determined tol sleep well.Upstairs and Downstairs both contemplate the events of the past few days.
