An educational Malaria comic
My friend Walter had this idea for an educational comic on malaria. We may still follow up on it.
A book promoting veggies to kids
Another friend, Elaine, proposed a book to promote vegetable-eating to children. Maybe we will take this one up again too, in addition to some other projects we are working on..
Knysna Icons and Christmas
Elaine and Piet Frans also did a series of Christmas cards focusing on Knysna. We refrained from producing the last four cynical ones, which nevertheless seem to be an accurate description of modern Christmas cheer!
A superhero series!
This was a fun series for a teacher who wanted to make superheroes the theme for her class. I’m not too sure about the educational value of the first hero….
This series was one of the first ventures into creating digital art, and the lack of skill is pretty clear.
And then some fun images, the first two being for friends on special occasions.
The following two images, which can be blown up to poster size, were created digitally, using Corel Painter. They contain a mish-mash of confusing images and mini-stories. The first one was a birthday card, incorporating incidents and phases from the subject’s life. The second one was a fantasy promotion of a shopping area. Many of the figures are actually real people.
These would actually make good jigsaw puzzles.
